Model Number: MATE3S
Firmware version: 001.004.006

Includes: Bug fixes

Release date: January 2021

********************************************************************************
1.4.6 changes:
********************************************************************************

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed an issue that could cause the Mate3s to erroneously report inverter
firmware version mismatch errors and incorrectly shut down the inverter when
  the mismatch report occurred.

Known Issues:

- Satellite Modems. Systems using a satellite modem may lose connectivity to
  Optics.

- Connection to Optics. If your Mate3s does not connect to Optics after updating
the firmware, and you're sure your network connection is strong and stable,
try running the firmware update again. This will trigger rebuilding certain
internal files that may help clear the connectivity problem.

- Calibration. When updating from 1.4.0, please check your calibration settings
(especially for FNDC) to make sure they have not changed and that they are in range.

********************************************************************************
1.4.5 changes:
********************************************************************************

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed an issue that could cause the Mate3s to lock up when installing
  inverter firmware updates.

- Fixed an issue that could cause intermittent reporting of battery state of
  charge as 0%.

********************************************************************************
1.4.4 changes:
********************************************************************************

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed an issue that could cause loss of communication with FM100.

- Fixed an issue that could cause incorrect reporting of battery time over
  SunSpec or to Optics.

********************************************************************************
1.4.3 changes:
********************************************************************************

New Features:

- Added Charge Controller grid tie mode (GT Mode) number to the charge controller
status screen on the MATE3S display and OPTICSRE

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed an issue where the internal web page displays Load Grid Transfer's Load
Threshold kW as ten times (x10) its actual value.
- Fixed an issue where maximum value of SoC was exceeding 100%. Maximum value of
SoC is now capped at 100%.
- Fixed a communication issue that caused intermittent cycling of configuration
values and port assignments leading to unexplained configuration change
  events being logged by Mate3s/OPTICSRE
- Fixed inconsistencies in computing and reporting active power, reactive power,
apparent power and power factor values.
- Fixed a routine that caused slave Radian inverter battery chargers to stay set
to Off when the master inverter calls them to turn on after certain sequences
of events in Off Grid mode.
- Fixed a bug that changed the AC Output Voltage, LBCO delay and Time Zone to
incorrect values when using the Restore Configuration function
- Fixed CSIP SunSpec model implementation issues in DID 126 - Volt-VAR Arrays,
DID 132 - Volt Watt Arrays, DID 134 - Frequency Watt Control
- Implemented a fix to filter corrupted MAC address.

Enhancements:

- Modified Grid Disconnect SOC value range in HBX Mode to 20-100% to accommodate
lithium ion battery state of charge specifications.
- Ported Ethernet Stack Reset mechanism from MATE3 and other enhancements to
  improve connectivity.

Known Issues:

- Energy accumulation values on the gateway display sum of values instead of
transferring them when switching AC Input priority from Grid to Gen or Gen to
  Grid
- HBCO/LBCO delay granularity and range inconsistent across FXR inverters,
  Mate3s and OPTICSRE
- MATE3S firmware updates sometimes fail to update both the main processor and
ethernet processor at the same time. If this occurs, update the gateway by
unplugging it from its power source, inserting the SD card with all update
files available in the root of the SD card, then holding down the UP button
while plugging it back in. Release the UP button once the bootloader screen
  appears.
- Due to various causes, some gateways experience memory corruption, causing
them to freeze up, or the buttons to stop responding. In this case, use the
same update method described above to clear the corrupted memory.

1.4.2 changes:
********************************************************************************

New Features:

- Added ability to generate system commissioning inverter settings report for
PREPA. This feature is available to installers in the Inverter menu.

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed an issue where the internal web page displays values for AGS Load Start
and Load Stop as ten times (x10) their actual value.
- Fixed an error that could cause intermittent incorrect CRC errors, which in
turn caused issues with replay (file corruption) and Optics connectivity.
- Fixed an issue where the scaling of the high and low battery cut off
(HBCO/LBCO) delay times are ten times (x10) their displayed value.
- Fixed an issue that caused the FM100-300VDC-AFCI model name to be truncated.
- Fixed an issue that caused out-of-range inverter calibration settings and Grid
  Connect delay setting.

Enhancements:

- Additional stability fixes for replay.
- Improved support for FM100-300VDC-AFCI charge controller.

Known Issues:

- Calibration. When updating from 1.4.0, please check your calibration settings
(especially for FNDC) to make sure they have not changed and that they are in range.
- Connection to Optics. If your Mate3s does not connect to Optics after updating
the firmware, and you're sure your network connection is strong and stable,
try running the firmware update again. This will trigger rebuilding certain
internal files that may help clear the connectivity problem.

********************************************************************************
1.4.1 changes:
********************************************************************************

New Features:

- Redesigned replay system for enhanced performance and stability.
NOTE: The redesigned replay feature is not compatible with the previous replay
feature. After updating the firmware, the Mate3s will delete any existing
replay files from the SD card. The new replay feature currently supports seven
  days of replay data.

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed multiple issues that caused calibration values to be incorrect and out
  of range.
- Fixed CRC calculation issue that could cause failure of certain Optics
messages and of uploading replay files.

Enhancements:

- Added Event LED notification for charge controller (CC) ground fault (FM100
  models only).
- Added exclamation mark fault indicator next to CC icon on the Home Screen for:
  - arc fault (FM100-300VDC-AFCI model only)
  - ground fault (FM100 models only)
  - rapid shutdown / input fault
- Removed support for previous AC Coupling feature (the ROCB version, not the
  relay version)

Known Issues:

- Calibration. When updating from 1.4.0, please check your calibration settings
to make sure they have not changed and that they are in range.
- Connection to Optics. If your Mate3s does not connect to Optics after updating
the firmware, and you're sure your network connection is strong and stable, try
running the firmware update again. This will trigger rebuilding certain internal
files that may help clear the connectivity problem.

********************************************************************************
1.3.0 changes:
********************************************************************************

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed issues with Mate3s connectivity to Optics that would cause connections
to drop, large data spikes to appear, data stream and ModBus communication to
go down periodically, DHCP enable/disable to not work correctly, and inverters
  getting deselected in Optics.
- Fixed issues with the internal Web page not loading, and conformed internal
Web page version number to the firmware release version number for consistency.
- Fixed issue that caused a large number of on-site change events to post.
- Fixed issue that caused a firmware update error to appear in Event History.
- Fixed issue that caused FLEXNet-DC "Charge Parms Met" event to not post.
- Fixed issue that caused saved settings of Upper Voltage Limit value of 256 and
258 to produce 0 and 2 respectively when restored.
- Fixed issue that could cause Setup Page Hold and Delay Settings to be off by a
  factor of ten.
- Fixed issue that could cause the AC Input LED to not light when AC input
  power is present.
- Fixed issue that could cause the GMT timestamp to be improperly set on certain
  startup conditions.

setting for up to three minutes before the display updates to show the correct
  value.
- Fixed issue in the Profile Wizard that caused the scroll value to roll over
from 60 to 0 without allowing the user to scroll back to 60, so the user would
have to scroll from 0 up to 60 to effectively scroll back one.
